Our Staff



A lifelong resident of Hampton, Bob graduated from Hampton High School, the College of William and Mary, served in the Army, and then graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He has served on a number of boards within the City of Hampton, is currently on the Advisory Board for the Funeral Service program at Tidewater Community College, and is a member of the Hampton Rotary Club.


A lifelong resident of Hampton, Tim attended Hampton High School, Appalachian State University and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a Past President of the Hampton History Museum Association, past Commissioner on the Peninsula Stadium Authority, Hampton Planning Commission and Hampton Board of Zoning Appeals. He is a member of the Hampton Rotary Club.


A lifelong resident of the Peninsula, Kevin was born and raised in Hampton, but currently resides in the Brandon Heights area of Newport News. He received his education from St. Mary Star of the Sea School, Peninsula Catholic High School, John Tyler Community College, and Christopher Newport College. He is a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church and a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5480, both in Newport News. He has coached youth School, Rec and Club soccer teams in Hampton and Newport News for over 30 years. Professionally, Kevin has been serving the families of the Peninsula since 1988, and is an active participant in the National Funeral Directors Association.


After working several years at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home as a secretary and bookkeeper, Jamie went back to school entering the funeral service program at Norfolk State University. She has been a licensed funeral director since 2005. Jamie also serves as secretary of the Tidewater Funeral Directors Association. Her favorite title is now "Grammy".


Jacob graduated from the University of Virginia's College at Wise, the Tidewater Community College's Funeral Service Program, and most recently from Liberty University's Masters Program. He is a member of the Virginia State Beekeepers Association and the Virginia Civil Defense League. Jacob is our sixth generation of family funeral directors.


Stephanie graduated from the Funeral Services Program at Tidewater Community College and completed her internship with us and became a licensed funeral director in March 2018. Stephanie works full time at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions.


A graduate of Phoebus High School, Lori serves as office coordinator and bookkeeper. A lifelong resident of Hampton, Lori is active in her church and enjoys spending time camping with her husband.


A lifelong resident of Hampton, Charlotte graduated from Kecoughtan High School and Tidewater Community College. She has served on numerous boards within the City of Hampton and enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially when that time is at the beach or on the water. Charlotte serves as our Aftercare and Special Projects Coordinator, and is certified as a Funeral Celebrant. She completed her funeral director's internship with us and became a licensed funeral director in February, 2023.
