William Charles "Chuck" Ochsenfeld , 73, passed away on February 10, 2024. A lifelong resident of Hampton, he retired as a teacher from Hampton High School in 2017 after 24 years, where he was the Junior Varsity Baseball Coach & Varsity Pitching Coach. He also served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

Chuck was survived by his wife of 54 years, Cheryl Rosser Ochsenfeld; sons, William C."Chad" Ochsenfeld Jr. and Chris R. Ochsenfeld (Angela); brother Nathan Ochsenfeld; sister, Karen Birdsong; and grandchildren, Alyssa O. Johnson (Daniel), Cameron R. Ochsenfeld, Cayden R. Ochsenfeld and William C. "Liam" Ochsenfeld III.
