William Edward Crewe, Jr, 91, passed away on January 31, 2022. Born in Matthews, VA, he was a long time resident of Hampton, He served in the US Army during the Korean War and also retired as a Communications Specialist with Civil Service of Fort Monroe after 25 years.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and William E. Crewe Sr; son, Michael K. Crewe; and brothers, Joseph C. Crewe, Franklin D. Crewe and Robert M. Crewe. Surviving are his children, Deborah Joy Ervin (Jimmy) and William E. Crewe III (Pat); grandchildren, Alisha Reel, Christian Ervin, Dakota Ervin and Lindsey Peterson; and great-grandson, Spencer Reel.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, going shopping with his daughter, Joy or just going for a ride. He was loved and cherished by his family very much and will be missed every day.
