The Good Lord has given an Angel her wings. Vicky Jenkins Carty, 71, passed away on January 28,2025. Born in Lynchburg, VA, she has been a resident of Hampton since 1962, where she worked at Old Point National Bank, York County Public Schools, and most recently at her beloved Hallmark. She was a member of Langley Baptist Church and was very strong in her faith.

Vicky is survived by her husband, William L, Carty Jr.; daughters, Stacie Stone, Lindsey Walker (Andrew), and Christine Duarte (Anthony); stepsons, William C. Carty, Robert C. Carty, and Christopher L. Carty (Ashley); sisters, Katherine Jarrell (Steve) and Cindy Dawson; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Stone, Conner Walker, Dylan Carr, Laney Carr; great-grandchildren, Adam Carty and Elizabeth Carty.

Vicky was preceded in death by her mother Merrill Jean Jenkins, father John Jenkins, sister Debora Fredrickson, and brother-in-law Jess Dawson.

Vicky's life will be celebrated 11:00am on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Langley Baptist Church, 116 East Little Back River Road in Hampton. Arrangements are by Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton, 757-825-8070.
