Tracy Irene Truitt (Lt. Commander US Navy, Ret.), passed away on February 3, 2024.  Born in Bethesda Maryland, she was stationed and traveled all over the world before retiring in 2009 after 28 years in the Navy.  She then worked as a Subcontracts Principal with SAIC until her passing.

Tracy was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on March 12th, 2011 and served in the Newport News West congregation. She always made it a point to remain faithful and stay busy in the preaching work (1 Corinthians 15:58). She remained faithful until her last breath.

Tracy was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin Truitt and Joyce Ann Truitt. She is survived in death by her daughters, Joyce Ervin and Jayde Adams (De'shawn); sisters, Tamra Koca (Jon) and Terri Baker (Steve); brother, Todd Truitt; grandson, Atlas Adams; and a niece and three nephews; along with a host of extended family and friends.
