Nellie "Sue" Bridges, 93, widow of Eugene "Pap" L. Bridges, passed away on January 6, 2022. She was known by many as "Nan". Born in Cooleemee, NC, she had been a resident of Newport News since she was 14. She graduated from Newport News High School.
Sue is survived by her daughter, Sylvia B. Eutsler; grandchildren, Chris Eutsler and his wife Courtney, Scott Eutsler and his wife Michelle; great grandchildren, Dustin, Corey, Nathan, Mady and McKenzie; and sister, Margie Drew Moore.
All services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are by Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton, 757-825-8070.
