Shirley Lucille Williams Crockett Jacobs, 87, born January 12, 1936, passed away on February 1, 2023. A lifelong resident of Tidewater, she graduated from Hampton High School in 1954. She retired as a New Accounts Manager from Bank of America in 1996 after 38 years.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Guy T. Jacobs; children, David W. Crockett, Rodney J. Crockett, Brian L. Crockett (Theresa) and Terry W. Crockett (Nancy); 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton.  Immediately following at 2:00 PM, Shirley's life will be celebrated by Rev. Barry Hobbs. Interment will be in Albert G. Horton Jr Memorial Veteran's Cemetery at a later date.

The family wishes in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to the TPA Hearing Trust.
