Sheila Joy Aman, 88, passed away on January 8, 2026. Born In Yakima, WA, she has been a resident of Hampton since 1961.

Sheila was preceded in death by her first husband, Franklin Garnett; second husband, Robert Aman, Sr. and son, Kent Garnett. She is survived by her children, Scott Garnett, Wade Garnett (Robbie) and Leslie Garnett; grandchildren, Haylie Thomas (Maverick), Randi Nicole (Scott Woods) and Lindsey Agreste (Tim); and great-grandchildren, Brecken Woods, Lainey Leigh and Austin Agreste.

Sheila's life will be celebrated from Noon - 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Arbor at Port Warwick, 1100 William Styron Square South, in Newport News, on the fourth floor.  Because of Sheila’s love of all animals, the family wishes any expressions of sympathy to take the form of contributions to your favorite Animal Rescue.
