Sharon Lynn McCarty, 69, passed away on February 21, 2021.  Born in Little Rock, AR, she has been a resident of Newport News since 1994.

Surviving are her children, Nicole McCarty-Liles (Daniel Noll), Joshua McCarty and Rachel Hammero (Erick); brothers, Mike and Terry Collier and grandchildren, Richard Liles, III, Isaiah Mohorn, Noah Barnette, Trevor Hammero and Skylar Hammero, as well as a host of other family and friends.
