Senan Halpin, 75, passed away peacefully in the loving care of his family, September 7, 2019. Born in Kilrush, County Clare, Ireland, Senan emigrated to the United States in his teens. He served faithfully and honorably in the US Air Force for over 30 years, retiring as a Lt. Colonel. Although stationed in multiple locations, including over 13 years of Foreign Service, Senan called both Kilrush, Ireland and Poquoson, Virginia home.

Senan will be deeply missed by his wife and beloved sweetheart of over 57 years, Breeda; children, Ursula, Kevin, Eileen, Seán, and Joe; grandchildren, Kyle, Rachel, and Teagan; great-granddaughter, Alani; sister, Mary; brothers, Michael, Martin, Vincent and Larry; brothers-in- law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

The dearly departed members of Senan's family include his parents, his parents-in-law, his brother, Pat [Nancy's spouse], and his sister-in-law, Bridie [Michael's spouse].

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM Saturday, September 21, 2019 at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, Tabb, Virginia. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated by Father Bob Spencer at 12:00 PM. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, followed by interment in All Saints Cemetery, will take place in St. Senan's Church, Kilrush, Ireland at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes expressions of sympathy, if desired, to take the form of contributions to the Parish Thrift Shop Food Pantry at 487 Wythe Creek Rd, Poquoson VA 23662 or to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org).
