In Memory of Our Mother, Sarah Kuerbitz

February 20, 1949 – November 22, 2025

Our mother, Sarah Kuerbitz, was a woman who didn't pretend to be anything she wasn't.  She spoke her mind, had no filter, and lived life in her own unapologetic way.  Her journey wasn't easy, and our relationships with her weren't simple, but she was still our mother, and today we remember her with truth and honesty.

She loved her crossword puzzles, her dollhouses, her garden, her Pogo games, and her dog of 15 years, Charlie Wilson.  These small joys were her comfort and her world.

Sarah is survived by her children: Fred, Tony, and Stink; three brothers; along with 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Her journey is now complete, and she can now join her mother, two sisters, and brother in rest.

The family will have visitation from 1-2:30 pm Saturday, at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Dr. in Hampton, 757-825-8070.
