Rosalie Davis Strawser, 65, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020. Born in Albany, NY, she has been a lifelong resident of Hampton Roads where she worked as a nurse's aide.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, Elvaria and Ernest C. Davis Sr.; daughter, Mary E. Hawkins; brother, Ernest Davis Jr., and granddaughter, Nanoko Hawkins.  Surviving are her life partner, Rob L. Stanton; daughter, Jennifer Williams; siblings, Marietta Toney, Sandra Hankammer, Lloyd Davis and Patricia Struchen; and grandchildren, Hanako Hawkins, Hiroshi Hawkins and Sadie Williams.

A service to celebrate Rosalie's life will be 5-7:00 PM Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Sandy Bottom Nature Park, Parker Pavilion, 1255 Big Bethel Rd., in Hampton.
