Ronald “Ronny” Cranston Mull, 71, passed away on March 25, 2026. A lifelong resident of Hampton, he was a 1973 graduate of Kecoughtan High School.

Ronny was preceded in death by his parents, Edith Mae and Richard William Mull Sr.; sister, Shirly L. Mintz; and brother, Richard William Mull Jr. He is survived by his sister, Carol M. Owens; brother, Michael M. Mull; and many nieces, great nieces, nephews, and great nephews who will miss him dearly.

Ronny was a man who loved God and family. He enjoyed spending time with family, and when he wasn’t, he would be hunting and fishing with good friends. He worked on the water as both a scalloper and cook. He received his nickname “Cookie” while working on the tugboats but later changed career paths to maintenance work.

Miss me, but let me go

When I come to the end of the road

And the sun has set for me

I want no rites in a gloom filled room

Why cry for a soul set free

Miss me a little - but not too long

And not with your head bowed low

Remember the love that we once shared

Miss me - but let me go

For this is a journey that we must all take

And each must go alone

It's all a part of the Master's plan

A step on the road to home

When you are lonely, and sick of heart

Go to the friends we know

And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds

Miss me - but let me go
