Patrick Anthony Hanrahan

Patrick Anthony Hanrahan, 90, widower of Irene Walker Hanrahan, passed away on February 3, 2026. Born in Boyle, Ireland, he moved to the United States in 1955.

Patrick served in the U.S. Air Force for over 22 years until his retirement in 1977 while stationed at Langley Air Force Base. After leaving military service, he continued his career with the City of Hampton, culminating as the City Risk Manager. Upon leaving the City, Patrick worked as a Consultant assisting local governments with obtaining liability insurance.

Patrick was also preceded in death by his son Kieran (Tony). Surviving are his son, Shaun Hanrahan (Dina), and siblings, Michael Hanrahan, Ria Trew, Carmel McGuiness, and Fergus Hanrahan.

The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 7 pm on February 17, 2026, at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Dr. in Hampton. Inurnment will be at a later date.
