Patricia Carol Walston, 55, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019.

Pat was known for her kind spirit, big heart, and bubbly personality.  She was selfless and always concerned for the well-being of others, even during her own struggles.  Her faith never wavered, as she knew she would one day be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and reunited with her parents in Heaven.

Though the void in our heavy hearts will never be filled, we find comfort in the memories, stories, and love she has left with us.

Pat was predeceased by parents JB and Iva Lee Walston, Grandparents Roosevelt and Ocie Puckett, Uncle Foy Hawks, cousins Ronnie and Kevin Puckett, and cat Pumpkin.  She was survived by her daughter Katlyn Rose, sister Neda, brother-in-law Ben, niece Rachel, Uncle Les, aunts Reva and Becky, cousins Brenda, Judy, Janet, and Bobbi, and grand-cat Cheddar.  She was also survived by dear friends Rich and Sharon.

A special thanks to Denise, a wonderful caregiver Pat had in her final weeks.

Her final resting place will be at Rome Church in Laurel Fork, VA.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
