Patricia "Pat" Gallop Heroux, 89, born in Norfolk, VA was called home on June 9th, 2024. She was the widow of Leonard Paul Heroux. Pat lived in Manteo N.C. and Virginia Beach, VA before moving to Hampton in 2022 to be closer to family.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mary Gallop, her brother Clarence "Pete" Gallop and her son Michael Heroux.

Pat is survived by two sons, Steve Heroux (Tracie) and Robert Heroux (Charlene); her sister, Karolee Bush; and brother David Gallop. Also left to cherish her memory are six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Pat, also known as "Mema" loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.  Whether it was sleepovers, swimming in the pool, going out to eat (always with dessert), attending their sporting events or spoiling them with trips to Toys R Us, she was always their biggest supporter.

Pat was an avid reader and enjoyed doing the daily crossword and Sudoku puzzles in the newspaper, and you could always count on her to watch her favorite story "The Young and The Restless" each day. Pat was loved by everyone and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.  Per Pat's request, there will be no memorial services.
