Odell Whitehead, 56, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020.  Born in Southampton County, VA she has been a Hampton resident since 2013.  She worked as a Traffic Controller for the Virginia Department of Transportation until her illness in 2018.

Odell is survived by her children, Tamika S. Shearin and Christopher L. Shearin; sister, Margaret Luney of  Oxnard California, brothers, Alvesta Whitehead (Margaret) of Franklin, Virginia; Willie Bass (Michelle); Lloyd Bass (Beverly) both of Newport News Virginia; and grandchildren, Taejon L. Johnson and Rashon D. Johnson of Hampton ,Virginia.

Odell's life will be remembered and celebrated a 2:00 PM Saturday, June 27th, 2020 at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Dr. in Hampton, by Bishop Lewis R. Williams.
