Melody Guthrie Garrett, 67, formerly of Hampton, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.  She was a loving wife, daughter, grandmother, sister and aunt. She had accepted the Lord as her savior at a young age.

Melody was preceded in death by her father Billy E. Guthrie and mother, Betty Owen Guthrie.  She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Garrett, children: Garrett O. Brogden (Heather), Kyle Garrett (Tiffany) and Kimberly Tenkley (Shawn); siblings, Enola Johnson (Randy), Billie Guthrie (Tammy), John Guthrie (Nicole) and Dixie Smith (Greg); grandchildren: Carson Tenkley, Hayden Garrett, Trevor Tenkley, Harper Garrett and Carly White; and Nieces and Nephews, Morgan Johnson, Taylor Kelton, Lauren Heffner, Dawson Guthrie, Alex Lister, Grayson Heffner and Chris Johnson.
