Hampton,
Marion Chubet Augunas widow of Julius "Lou" Augunus, passed away on August 11, 2022 ending a 97 year life filled with love, bridge and traveling and gardening club. She was born and raised in Norwood, MA the daughter of John Joseph Chubet and Mary Clem Chubet, accompanied by four brothers and three sisters.
She was a member Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Farmington Garden Club
In 1952 she married "Lou" and was a Hampton resident since 1984. Lou passed away on February 15, 2018. Also preceding her in death are her Daughter and Son-in-law, Dorothy and Tom Flanagan. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Peter and Brenda Augunas of Clay, NY, George and Donna Augunas of Bensalem, PA, Jeanne and Douglas Davidson of Hampton; five grandchildren, Alexander, Adam, Autumn and Nicole Augunas and John Davidson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and special niece Elaine Dean.
The family will receive friends from 9-10:00 am Tues, August 23, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2150 Cunningham Dr. in Hampton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM by Rev. John Grace. Interment will follow at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk at 2:00 PM. Arrangements are by Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton, 757-825-8070.
