Louise Joanne (Strait) Russell, 85, a resident of Hampton since 1980, passed away on March 10, 2024.  She was born in Bellefonte, PA and grew up in Axemann and Boalsburg, PA.  She graduated from State College High School in 1956.  She married her high school sweetheart, (Lt. Col.) John "Fred" Russell in 1961.  Louise was a loving and supportive career military wife who was dedicated to raising her family.

Louise is predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Fred, and is survived by her 3 loving daughters and their spouses, Margaret "Peggy" Louise Jordan (Keith), Patricia "Patty" Joanne Rochelle (Chuck), and Laura René Clark (William "Buddy"); 6 grandchildren with 3 great-grandchildren, Luke Russell Jordan (partner Marlaina), John Russell Rochelle (wife Rachel), Steven Christopher Rochelle (wife Kaitlin; children Korra and Maverick), René Delight Clark (husband Jeffrey), Russell Walker Clark (wife Anne; child Ella), Alyssa Louise Hughes (husband Christopher).  She has 2 sisters, Darlene Bachmann (Clarence) and Ardranna Henry (Robert).  Additionally, she is survived by her most faithful, little dog Dusty who never left her side.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM Friday, at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Dr. in Hampton, with Funeral Service immediately following at 1:30 PM in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
