Hampton,

Louis Beaty Yarborough, 91, passed away on November 3, 2022.  Born in Andrews, SC he moved to Hampton in 1965.  He retired from the U.S. Marine Corp in 1966 after 20 years of service, which included tours of Korea and Vietnam.  After retiring, he worked for Newport News Shipbuilding for 25 yrs., building the world's greatest warships.

Louis is survived by his wife of 61 years, Anna Louise Yarborough; sons, Darrell J. Yarborough (Bonnie) and Gary L. Yarborough (Judy); grandchildren, Katlyn Moschler (Joshua) and Kristen Corcoran (Mitchell); and great grandchildren, Marleigh, Ella Grace, and Dominic.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held, 11 AM Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Albert G. Horton Jr Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Rd. in Suffolk.
