Lois Beatrice Nicholson, 91, passed away on November 12, 2024.  Born in Amelia, VA, she has been a resident of Hampton since 1985. She retired as a Contracting Officer at Langley Air Force Base in 1996 after over 40 years of Federal Civil Service working in various federal agencies. Following retirement from Federal Civil Service, she continued utilizing her contracting expertise at Blue Force, LLC, defense contractor for the Department of Defense and Department of State.

Lois was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Viviana P. Edwards. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey M. Nicholson (Fatiha) and Kia Marie Miller (Jason); Nieces and Nephew, Ann B. Dales, Janet B. Strafer and George Garland Brown (Carrie); grandchildren, Maurice Nicholson (Ann Marie), Katrina Woodson (Jerrell), Maquis Nicholson, Christopher Nicholson, Joshua Nicholson, India Nicholson, Elijah Nicholson, Zavier Nicholson, and Marcus Billups; sixteen great-grandchildren; great Niece and Nephew, Karen Denise Brown, James Brown (Laverne), and great-great nieces Zoe Jones, Lauren Brown, Niesha Bland, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 PM Saturday, November 23, 2023, at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Dr., Hampton, VA  23666.  In lieu of flowers, the family wishes expressions of sympathy to take the form of contributions to the Salute Military Golf  Association, https://smga.org.
