Kendra Renee Carson, 45, died Wednesday, September 29, 2021. A lifelong Peninsula resident, she was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her children, Ciré Studwell, Cirada Carson, and Spirit Pryer; her parents, Charles Batten, Sr. and Pauletta Samuels; her brothers, Charles Batten and Kevin Samuels; her sisters, Shaundell Hicks and her husband, Robert Hicks, Taneica Samuels, Charlita Batten, Keyana Bethea, and Aisha Clark; her grandchildren, Legend Studwell, Jalanii Blakey, Lyric Studwell, Lariek Studwell and JahQue Curry; her step-brothers, Damian Claud, John Claud, and Evan Claud; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
