Karen Williamson, 66, went home peacefully to be with her Lord on February 3, 2024, after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis for 40 years.
She was born in Takoma Park, MD and was raised in Hampton, VA, where she spent her entire life. She was employed as a former civil service secretary at Ft. Monroe and Langley Air Force Base for over 15 years.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Patricia Marshall; and her youngest brother, Randy Marshall. She is survived by her beloved husband, Doug Williamson, who was the love of her life. He will cherish her memory all of his days. She is also survived by her sister, Donna Owen (Robert); brother, Dennis Marshall (Toni); Aunts, Uncle, many cousins, and a niece and nephews. All will remember the love of family she had and her caring generous heart. She was beautiful inside and out and loved to bless people. She was always known as the "Pretty One" in the family.
The family wishes to have a private memorial gathering to honor her after a time of grieving, at a later date. Rest high precious. You were loved dearly and will be missed, until we all meet again.
"Whom the Son sets free is free indeed." Dance with the angels on streets of gold. Arrangements are by Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton, 757-825-8070.
