June Marie Murphy, 90, widow of William A. Murphy, passed away on July 28, 2024.  Born in Tamroy, WV, she has been a resident of Hampton since 1967.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

June was also preceded in death by her parents, Adelina and Franco Lancianese; and brothers, George, Albert, Angelo, James, Pasco and Johnny.  She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Murphy Brackin (Joseph), Lenora Murphy (Lee), Karen Murphy Cannon (Mark), and Shawn Cress (Wade); grandchildren, Christopher, Catey, Alyson, William and Brianna; six great-grandchildren and our dear family friend, James Frango..

A Funeral Liturgy of the Word will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2150 Cunningham Dr. in Hampton.  Interment will be private.

The family wishes in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy to take the form of contributions to the ICCC Food Pantry, 2150 Cunningham Dr., Hampton, VA  23666.
