Judy Newberry Williams, 71 years of age, transcended to her heavenly home on March 9, 2025.  She was a lifelong resident of Hampton.  She retired from Newport News Shipyard as a Materials Supply Clerk.  She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, Willis Morgan in 2011, and her son, Shannon Ransome in 2016.  She is survived by her husband, Gregory  Williams and his son Richard Williams (Kelly); mother, Hattirene Morgan; five siblings, Linda Bremmer, Kenny Morgan (Pam), Diane Spencer, Sam Morgan (Dee), Alan Morgan (Cindy); grandchildren, Gabriel Ward, Kenzington and Emmerson Williams; two great-grandchildren, Winston and Grayson; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Judy was always about helping others.  In that light, she was an organ donor, so that she could continue to help others by giving the gift of life.

A celebration of Judy's life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Calvary Assembly of God, 1380 N. Mallory St. in Hampton, by Pastor David Highlander.
