Judith Kaye Baughan, 80, passed away on Monday February 7, 2022. Judith or Judy, as most people knew her, was born in Lexington, NC and lived in Hampton, Va for most of her adult life. In her career Judy was a Dental Assistant working for Dr. Paul Burbank and Dr. Joseph Siragusa for most of her career. She shared her love of her career by teaching Dental School classes at ECPI. .

During her life, Judy was a mother, grandmother, sister, and loyal friend to many. She would greet everyone she knew with a smile and you could find her anywhere just by hearing her infectious laugh.

Judy's memory lives on through her many artistic talents. She spent her free time making beautiful paintings, and piecing together incredible stained glass for friends and family. Her creativity carried over into her classic style, making sure that she had the perfect outfit for every occasion.

Judy found a loyal four legged companion, for much of her final years, in her Wire-haired Dachshund, Susie. Susie continues to be her loyal companion, since passing shortly after her owner.

While Judy's passing will leave a hole in her family and friends hearts, they will find comfort in all the memories and love that she has created.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Mari Baughan Hickey (Michael) and Holly Ann Elliott; brother, Michael Howell Kinney; and grandchildren, Casey Rae Hickey, Chad Michael Hickey, Shawnee Leigh Elliott and Lacey Taylor Elliott. Preceded in death by her husband Thomas Earl Baughan and parents Otha Chalmers and Helen Kinney.
