Judith E. Chisom Ammons, 76, passed away July 31, 2023. A native of Newport News, Judy had a long and distinguished civil service career.  She was preceded in death by her husband Carl (Larry) and her son Larry Jr. She is survived by her sister Karen Chisom Bradish (Bryan) of Smithfield and her brother, Paul R. Chisom Jr. (Cheryl) of Hampton; as well as several nieces and a great nephew. A private family service will be at a later date.
