Hampton,

Jerald Francis Edwards, 78, widower of Patricia Edwards, passed away on January 9, 2022.  A lifelong resident of the Peninsula, he served in the U.S. Air Force and  retired from the US Postal Service in 2003 after 34 years.  He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hampton.

Jerald was survived by his son, Brian Patrick Edwards; grandson, Matthew Edwards; and brother, Tim Edwards.

Jerald's life will be celebrated during the Daily Mass at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church by Rev. John Grace.  The family wishes in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Food Pantry at Immaculate Conception, 2150 Cunningham Dr., Hampton, VA  23666.
