Janet Marie Wilson, 62, passed away on Nov 13, 2022.  A lifelong resident of Newport News, she graduated from Ferguson High School in 1978.

Janet was survived by her children, Asha Brown, Adina Hicks and Alonzo Gibson; sisters, Debra Wilson, Vanessa Wilson and Valita Howard; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Janet was a God-Fearing Woman, who was a caring, sweet and genuine soul.  She was always honest and spoke "Truth", even through the hardest circumstances.  She was willing to help anybody by the Grace of God.  She will forever be missed and forever respected.  Most of all, forever "LOVED".
