James Edward Hummel, Jr., 61, passed away on January 22, 2023.  Born in Lewiston, Maine, he was living in Lancaster, OH until moving to Virginia in January 2021.  We was a Fromager at The Cheese Shop in Williamsburg, VA.
James volunteered at the Waterman's Museum in Yorktown in recent years - assisting as aide wherever he could - and many other events over the years as provider of food, drink, song and merriment.
James is survived by his fiancée, Christine Shirley; children, Stacey Anne Hummel and Steph Kilgore; parents, Carol Krejci and James Hummel, Sr.; siblings, Laura Otto, Scott Hummel and Rob Krejci; grandchildren, Luna, Alex, Avery, Lara, and Lila; nieces and nephews, Justin Hummel, Celena Guerrero, Christian Reedy, Hank Otto, Haleigh Otto and Jennifer Montgomery; and cousins, Susan, Carole, John, Becky, Kelly, Edward and Keith Morris.
