Heywood "Bob" Roberts, Jr., 93, went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2022.  A lifelong resident of the Peninsula, he had attended Bethel Temple in Hampton for many years.

Bob graduated from N.A.S.A. (then N.A.C.A.) Apprentice School and retired in 1978 after 31 years of service as an Engineering Technician.  He also retired from Dynamic Engineering, Inc as a Model Technician in 1992.

Bob was preceded in death by his son Brian Roberts.  He is survived by his wife and best friend of 44 years, Nadine Roberts; daughter, Vicki Burns (Lee); sons, Michael Roberts (Elizabeth), and Gary Roberts (Teresa); step children, Cliff Aydlette (Cindy), Richard Aydlette (Beth), Alisa King (Terry) and Laura Bazemore (Seth); 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Dr. in Hampton, 757-825-8070.
