Gladys Joyce James, 88, passed away on October 6, 2023.  Born in Kannapolis, NC, she moved to Michigan  to work at General Motors, where she retired after over 22 years.  She moved to Williamsburg in 2017 to be close to family.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie D. James and daughter, Robin James.  She is survived by her children, Jeff James, Doug James, Shawnda James and Phllipe James; and grandchildren, Nathan and Corey.

Services will be in Flint, MI at a later date.  Arrangements are by Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton, 757-825-8070.
