Frances Loreen Romano

Frances Loreen Romano, 93, passed away on May 18, 2026. Born in Molena, GA, she has been a resident of Hampton for 87 years. She retired as an Administrative Head working Civil Service at the Ft. Eustis James River Fleet Reserve.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Anthony Romano Jr. She is survived by her son, Nicholas A. Romano, III; sister, Sandra Cooper; grandchildren, Nicholas A. Romano IV, Christian A. Romano (Victoria), Cameron J. Romano (Morgan), Chase D. Romano (Candace), and Dakota T. Romano (Ashlyn); great-grandchildren, Rosie E. Romano, Theodore A. Romano, Elijah R. Romano, Titus A. Romano, Jaxson S.O. Romano, Greyson J. Romano, Maisyn E. Romano, Levi D. Romano, Anna M. Romano and Dakota T. Romano, Jr.; nieces, Kay Ray and Cricket Salyer, Julie Wilson, Susan Wilson and Linda Small; nephews, Jeff Wilson, Jimmy Wilson and Ronnie Wilson; and Special Cousins, Mike and Sharon Capone.
