Eleanor Clark Lovejoy passed away in Hampton, Virginia on December 8, 2020 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her husband Elwyn Raymond Lovejoy, and is survived by her children, daughter Valerie E. Lovejoy and son Andrew E. Lovejoy (Mila-Jane R. Lovejoy). When her children were young, she was active in the Girl Scouts as a troop leader and in the Cub Scouts as a den mother. Her love of animals was evident by her having pet cats and dogs for the majority of her long life. She also had a fondness for birds, and often had bird feeders set up so she could watch them. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
