Doris Marie Gault, 88, passed away on July 22, 2022. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA; she has been a resident of Newport News since 2015.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Gault, Sr. and sons Patrick, Michael, and Dennis. She is survived by her children, Jack, Bob, Donna, Kathy, and Kevin; nineteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Jane and Peggy.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 100 Harpersville Rd.,  Newport News, with Rev. Dan Beeman as the Celebrant. Reception immediately following in the church commons.
