On January 31, 2022, Donna Jordan Alford passed away at her home in Hampton after a courageous and prolonged battle with Lupus.  She was born on June 14, 1954 in Newport News, VA. and was a graduate of Kecoughtan High School in 1972.  She married Thomas J. Alford on December 20, 1972 and welcomed only son, William, the following year.

Donna's talents were many including a clothing designer/seamstress, painter, dog breeder/trainer, a beloved wife, mother, sister and she was welcoming to all who met her.

For Donna, family came first. She was preceded in death by her parents Gertrude & Paul Jordan.   She is survived by her childhood sweetheart, love of her life, & husband of over 30 years, Thomas J. Alford; her treasured son, William Paul Alford; sister, Trudie Fae White; brother, David A. Jordan; granddaughter, Ashley Buben; and her fur-baby, Riley.

The Alford Family wishes to thank Amedisys Hospice, and nurses Krista and Randi. The family will have a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to any animal charity of your choice.
