Donald Ray Humphreys, 59, went to be with the Lord on February 25th, 2025.  He was a Hampton native and had been employed at Newport News Shipyard for over 30 years.  He enjoyed gardening and was the 'green thumb' of his family.  He loved the beach and having friends and family over often.

He is survived by sisters, Jo Ann Smith of Hampton and Doris Jean Perkins of Elkton, and brother Robert D Humphreys (Yulanda) of Hampton and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Billy Humphreys, brothers Jim Day and David Humphreys, sisters Frances Ault and Mary Humphreys.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Buckroe Baptist Church, 1819 N Mallory Street, Hampton. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Buckroe Baptist Church Food Pantry.
