David Norman Pearson, 72, passed away on August 30, 2022.  A resident of Hampton since 1978, he retired from the US Navy in 1988 after 20 years, then BAE Systems in Norfolk, in 2010. He is survived by his, daughter, Melanie Parker (Carl); siblings, Doris McNorton, William Pearson and Michael Pearson; and grandchildren, Esme Parker, Kelly Parker, Jacqueline Pearson-Huggett (Austen) and Patrick Pearson. He has been reunited with his wife, Linda Pearson, and daughter, Joelle Pearson in Heaven.

David was born May 12, 1950, in Philadelphia, PA. He married his beloved wife in 1971. He was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished his family and his country.

A celebration of David's life will be 1:00 PM Saturday, September 17, 2022, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 807 W. Mercury Blvd. in Hampton, 23666 by Rev. Tim Crummitt.  A reception will follow the memorial service.  All are welcome to attend and remember David's life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Paul's.
