David Lyle Kaufman, 76, passed away on June 16, 2025.  Born in Appleton, WI, he has been a resident of Newport News, VA over 45 years.  He was a Sales Support Coordinator for Liebherr USA Co., working there over 45 years.

David was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Linda Newell; parents, Joe and Vivian Kaufman; and siblings, Judy Regeth, Joanne Koehnke, Ralph Kaufman and Mike Kaufman.  He is survived by his sons, Joe Kaufman, Paul(Kellie) Kaufman and Dennis Kaufman; siblings, Ginna Heegeman, Ann(Ken) Hansen, Debbie Wilson, Mary(Steve) Ready, Greg(Kim) Kaufman and Danny Kaufman; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.  Along with long time friends Tim Hurley(Romanda), Jack Lavoie, Ralf/Trina Baughman, and many friends from Liebherr Crane USA.

A "Last Call" Celebration of David's life will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Lil's, 8 Gamble St., in Newport News.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, July 12, 2025, at St. Mary's Parish, 312 South State Street, Appleton, WI.  Immediately following, the celebration of his life will continue at Dick's Wheel Inn, 1105 Appleton, RD, in Menasha.
