David Lee Goss, age 57, of Hampton, VA., passed away at his home on August 27, 2026, after an extended illness.
Born June 7, 1969, in Lewistown, PA. He is the son of Steven D. Goss of Lewistown, PA., and his mother, the late Deborah (Rudy) Goss
He is survived by his wife, Binh Chau Tang; children, Jenson Zayden Goss Tang, Lionel Franklin Goss Tang, and Sophia Allison Goss Tang of Hampton, VA.; also daughters Christina Goetz and Michelle Stowasser of Germany; and 2 grandchildren, Emilia and Gabriel Goetz. Also surviving is his special aunt, Marta Rudy from Texas; and a step-brother, Martin Martell of PA.
He especially enjoyed returning to the Goss Farm for visits with extended family and the annual Goss family reunions.
A graduate of Chief Logan High School Class of 1987, after graduating, he enlisted in the US Army and trained in computer programming and maintenance on field command stations and was deployed to Germany. After completing his enlistment, David worked as a computer specialist for military contractors Hughes Aircraft and Haliburton at the largest military training base in Europe helping in the training of Apache attack helicopter pilots.
Later he was employed in the global warehousing market. He supervised the installation of automated equipment for companies such as the BMW auto plant in Greenville, SC. and the Giant Food distribution warehouse in Carlisle, PA. He was promoted Senior Project Manager for global Noell-Schaeffer and headed many projects in Asian countries. He eventually returned to the US and made his residence in Hampton, VA.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 17th at 9:00 am at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Drive, Hampton, VA. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 am.
