David Arnold Barnwell, Jr., 69, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020.  Born in Charleston, SC, he has been a resident of Newport News over 20 years.

David was preceded in death by his parents, David A. Barnwell, Sr. and Marie A. Barnwell, and he is survived by his wife of 46 years, Paula C. Barnwell; children, David A. Barnwell III, Dameca A. Howard (Shanard) and T'Naia D. Felder (Terrance); sisters, Yettah A. Rogers and Davondra B. Harper; brother Dinardo T. Barnwell; grandchildren, Diondre B. Barnwell, Dasia A. Walker, Daymond R. Walker, Taierra G. Felder, Terraia E. Felder, Aryjana M. Felder and Xzavier T. Felder; goddaughter, Latasha V. Barnwell; along with many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
