Daniel Mark Conyers

Daniel Mark Conyers, 46, passed away on September 12, 2026. A lifelong resident of the Peninsula, he graduated from Bethel High School in 1999 and Thomas Nelson Community College in 2003. He was a Substitute Teacher with Hampton City Public Schools.

Daniel is survived by his four children, Anna Conyers, Mary Conyers, Michael Conyers, and Bella Conyers; his mother, Melinda E. Conyers; and his brother, David Conyers.

Daniel’s life will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 26th, 2026, at Maranatha Baptist Church, 221 Hampton Highway, in Yorktown.

One of his favorite passages was the 23rd Psalm… “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”

The family wishes that, instead of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of charitable contributions to the Building Fund of his brother’s ministry, Bethel Baptist Church.
