Dana "Jeanie" L. Smith (Vinson), age 65, went home on Fri, Jan 5, 2024. She was a lifelong resident of Hampton, VA. She graduated Kecoughtan High in 1978 and retired from Hampton Machine Shop/Trident after 18yrs.

Jeanie loved big and always wanted others to be happy. She always wanted what was fair for everyone and loved being silly and laughing. She was hard-working and loved helping others always. Her kids and her grandkids were her world.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband of 44 yrs, Roy Smith; daughter, Felicia; son, Joshua Smith; son-in-law, Clem; daughter-in-law, Cathy; beloved grandchildren, Raelynn, Madison, Nora, and Deane; sisters, Kay Musgrove and Rita Kensek; brothers, Guy Vinson and Tim Vinson; 52 nieces and nephews; many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sat., Jan. 20, 2024 at Providence Church 731 Little Back River Road, Hampton, VA, 23669. Open reception to follow.
