Carol Veneris, 73, of Hampton, Virginia, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026. Born on March 22, 1952, in Idaho, Carol built a life rooted in love, generosity, and devotion to family and community.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William T. Veneris. She is survived by her daughter, Trina Ruple and her husband, Jerry Ruple; her son, Greg Veneris and his wife, Lori Veneris; her four cherished grandchildren who brought her immense pride and joy; and her two brothers, Alan Gray and Jerry Gray.

Carol had a deep love for reading and believed wholeheartedly in the power of books, especially for children. She was always encouraging young people to discover the joy of reading and learning. Her enthusiasm for stories and education left a lasting impression on many.

She loved animals and found great happiness at the beach and by the pool, places where she could relax and soak in life’s simple blessings. Known for her servant’s heart, Carol was always volunteering and stepping in to help others. She quietly and faithfully supported her community, never hesitating to lend a hand or offer encouragement.

Carol will be remembered for her kindness, her steady strength, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the countless lives she touched.
