Carl Lee Barrack, 83, of Hampton, VA passed away on August 3, 2023 with his wife by his side. Born in Hampton on March 24, 1940, he was a 1958 graduate of Hampton High School.

After working several years, he decided to try the restaurant business beginning at a local Big Boy. Several moves and 14 years later he decided to try over-the-road truck driving, and subsequently retired from North American Van Lines as a driving instructor in 2002. During retirement he enjoyed his boat, fishing, taking care of the yard, and volunteering with the Thursday lunch ministry at West Hampton Baptist Church.  He was also a 32nd Degree Mason of Warwick Masonic Lodge No. 336

Carl was predeceased by his parents Annie Irene Rollins Barrack and Jesse Walton Barrack; sister Jessie Barrack; and son Michael Walton Barrack.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judith (Judy) Pittman Barrack; son, Mark Warren Barrack; grandchildren, Michael, Justin, Kierra, Julian, Erika, Tyler, Matthew, and Elizabeth; great grandchildren, Sloan, Zekiah, and Ashton.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday August 26 at the West Hampton Baptist Church, 631 Aberdeen Rd. in Hampton.
