On this day September 28, 2021 Bridget Theresa Ryan Ganger was born into Eternal life.
Bridget was born on Tuesday April 8, 1930 to Bridie (Walsh ) and Tim Ryan. She had 3 brothers Timothy deceased, Thomas (Susan) and Lawrence (Gen, deceased) . Bridget grew up in Brooklyn N.Y. where she attended St Brendan's Elementary and graduated from St. Brendan's High School. She married the Love of her Life ,John Joseph Ganger, on 9/6/1952. John left this world 1/21/2016 after a life together of 64 years. They had 6 children John (Joan) deceased, Kevin (Susan) , Kathleen Trimmer (Steve), Mary Alice Raftice (Bill ,deceased), Patricia Schrader (Steve) and Baby Anastasia Ganger (deceased). She has 17 Grandchildren: Ryan (Sara), Tim (Nicole), Scott (Shana) Ganger; Sarabeth Hagen, Amanda (Neal) Hull, Sammi Trimmer; Bill (Amanda), Kevin (Samantha), Patrick (Kristyn), Christopher, Tim and Caitlin Raftice; Stephen (Heather), John (Amy), Mary (Tony) Burke, Thomas and Michael Schrader; 17 Great-Grandchildren: Timmy (TJ), Penny, Genevieve, Roger, Clarice, Allie, Avery, Harrison, Chloe, Collin, Theodore, Millie, Everett, Liam, Stella Rose, Dillon and Miles.
She retired after working 20 years at New York Telephone Co. and then moved to Virginia in 1986. She lived her life with much JOY- Jesus-Others & You. She traveled the world twice on holy pilgrimages praying for unity of all nations. She considered her many friends as precious gifts and never met a stranger. Bridget Loved people, lived her Faith, laughed and listened to all she met. She lived life doing for others and hoped they would pass it on. Life is precious and she always made it an adventure.

The family will have visitation Tuesday, Oct.5, from 2:30-7:30 PM at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton. A viewing will be celebrated from 10am Wednesday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Family Eulogy will be at 10:45 am with the mass to begin at 11AM. Interment will be at a later date. Interment will be held at the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk on Wednesday, October 13th, at 10:00 AM.
