Bobby Earl Moffett, Jr. (Ubob), age 45, passed away on Wednesday July 7, 2021. Born in Pascagoula, MS, on August 21, 1975, Bobby was a resident of Newport News, VA, even though his heart stayed true to Mississippi.

He loved most being outside, finding adventures and having the best time, playing with his nieces and nephews. Bobby was hard headed, strong willed and outspoken. Qualities that those closest to him came to love. He was the biggest goofball that made everyone laugh and he had a heart of gold, always willing to share a smile or a helping hand. He was a protector, of everyone.

Bobby loved being by the water, finding joy in being on a boat, fishing, splashing around with the kids, or just relaxing. He was a jack of all trades and could do or fix anything he put his mind to. He loved being a mechanic and put pride in his work as a painter.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother Wanda Lee Mowery (Gorham); son Jackson Lee Moffett; brothers Matthew Moffett and Shane Mowery; sister Shawn (and an 'a') Mowery; nephews Jacob Mowery and Anthony Mowery; nieces Emily Mowery, Aurora Naquin, Keanna Fisher and Kayleeanna Fisher; aunts Penny Brogden, Patty Odom and Cheri Bohman; uncles Butch Gorham, Gary Odom and Kenny Brogden; cousins Christopher Odom, Kevin Brogden and Michael Brogden; along with many friends that cherished him.

Bobby will forever be loved and missed by so many. He is now at rest and is with both his earthly and heavenly fathers, whom he loved so much. Arrangements for his Memorial and Celebration of Life Gathering, will be shared once a date and location has been determined.
