Billie Darold Robertson, 81, passed away on July 10, 2021.  Born in Doniphan, MO, he has been a resident of the Peninsula since 1984. He served for nineteen years in the US Navy, with multiple deployments to Vietnam. He was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal, 3 bronze stars,Vietnam Campaign Medal, and National Defense Service Medal. He retired as a welder from Newport News Shipbuilding in 2001.

Billie is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rose M. Robertson; sons, Kelly D. Robertson and Andrew K. Robertson; Daughter-in-Law Keisha Robertson, grandchildren, Sydney and Christian; and siblings, Denver Huffman, Dorothy Huffman Webb York, John Huffman, Roy Huffman, and Katherine Robinson.

A graveside service with Military Honors, will be held 10:00 AM Friday, July 23, 2021 at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30-1:30 at 165 Point Heron Dr. Newport News, VA 23601.
