Anthony Edward "Tony" Salomonsky

Anthony Edward “Tony” Salomonsky, passed away in his room at Waterview Convalescent center at the age of 82 1/2 on March 28, 2026.

Tony was born and raised in Norfolk Virginia, went to Maury High School and was well educated at Old Dominion University. He was very passionate about music, art, literature and movies, in particular Richard Wagner and silent movie classics. He was a great fan of the original Doctor Who series, with John Pertwee and Tom Baker being his favorite doctors, but he had a broad range of interests in cinema, books and music. He worked as a self-employed plumber in his later years until his retirement. He will always be known for his passion for life, history and the arts. He was quite a charming, wonderful character who knew how to share a laugh, give advice and support and spend quality time with those around him.

He is greatly loved and missed by his three surviving sons, Paul, Nathan and Eric.
